The Foursome (2006)
Member Rating:
The change that passing years can bring become more obvious than ever before as four college buddies come back together for the first time since graduation in a nostalgic comedy about golf, cash and old friends. When Rick Forester (Kevin Dillon) organizes an impromptu reunion with four of his closest college friends, it appears as if his actions are being driven by purely benevolent intent. A close investigation of the gathering, however, soon reveals that Rick may be looking to make some quick cash of his college chums in a potentially lucrative game of golf. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Although this was supposed to be a comedy, I don't think I laughed even once. The storyline was shallow, the acting wasn't great, and the so-called plot was predictable. The movie also tried to touch on the "emotional" side of life. However, since the main point was comedy and the movie couldn't even achieve that, the emotional side was more unbelievable. This movie has the feel of a last minute college assignment that was thrown together an hour before the due date.

This movie started out very funny, with alot of one line comebacks, then when it tried to go the slapstick route on the golf course it just kept repeating and repeating and repeating the same corny sight gag..with variations on the shot .

This was perhaps the worst movie I've ever seen! Mostly I rented it because I'm a golfer and I have enjoyed other movies that involve golf like Caddyshack (best golf movie), Tin Cup, Greatest Game Ever Played, just to name a few. The only slight bright spot of this movie was Kevin Dillon, he played a similar role like his character on Entourage (which I enjoy). Bottom line: Don't waste the 90 minutes of your life on this movie
