A man named Frank with no memories of the past, a collection of disturbing scars, and a tattoo reading "Sex Machine" that he doesn't remember getting awakens clutching a smoking gun and surrounded by dead bodies in writer/producer/editor and director Christopher Sharpe's post-noir take on the Frankenstein mythos.     I highly recommend this film, it reminded my of a TWILIGHT ZONE or OUTER LIMITS episode. It was like RESEVOIR DOGS and MOMENTO starring FRANKENSTEIN's monster. I was expectin a completely disposable movie but discovered a movie I put up there with some of my favorite crime dramas that I discover like THURSDAY and BOONDOCK SAINTS. Sorry its not about Tom Savani's character of FROM DUSK TIL DAWN and glad to report its not about the bad guy from 8mm. The title may cause some to draw conclusion, much like any film with sex in the title like SEXY BEAST for example, which some of my friends still avoid over the title-their loss don't let it be yours. Enjoy as I did. yes its a rough cut diamond but still a diamond.

    Although I can see the cult following of this film, well, it just didn't do it for me. The acting was bad, as was the sound quality and lighting at times. I guess I am harsh.

    Very well done film! Great effort! The film was well written and filmed to make it look more expensive than it did. The acting was way above par and the women were beautiful! I can't wait to see what Christopher Sharpe will do next! The movie sucked me in, great story! I wish there were more special features, but I was grateful for the commentary & short behind-the-scenes segment. I'm glad to see movies like this get distributed!
