The year is 2008 and something is terrorizing the streets of London, leaving numerous heartless corpses behind. Fortunately detective Harley Stone (Rutger Hauer) is on the case and discovers that the murderous monster behind the killings is just that. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
It's a b-grade film -- the special effects on the monster are really, really bad, and there's some gore with the victims -- but Rutger Hauer is a riot, and watch for Neil Duncan to steal most every scene he's in. Duncan's scene with Hauer, when they go get some bigger guns, should be required viewing for every scifi fan!
Some great lines, good suspense, great characterization by Hauer, more suspense than gore. Oh did I mention young Kim Catrell? This film deleivers, it is a keeper.
