A woman preparing for the biggest day in her life finds her wedding plans thwarted by his well-intending brother and his painfully immature friends in a matrimonial comedy with a decidedly Samoan twist. Sione is about to get married, but he knows that when his brother and his friends show up chaos will be quick to follow. Though the rowdy foursome are all well into their thirties, their reckless behavior suggests a maturity level of sixteen at best.     I actually saw this movie in Samoa when it first came out in March 2006, and that just made the movie even better than it already was. This movie is a great comedy, especially if get to know and love islander culture, specifically Samoan, even though this takes place in New Zealand. Its a very lighthearted comedy, and although it may come off as a Kiwi version of American Pie, it brings its own style and brand of original jokes and humor. This movie was pretty big in Australia, NZ, and the island nations over there, and although it is a different kind of humor, it is truly something to be appreciated. However, do not be expecting a movie that will set the bar for comedies, but in the end, it will make you laugh.

    It may not be your typical comedy but I thought it was funny since I knew guys just like that. Though it is a comedy, it also highlights one of the things I admire about the Samoan culture and that's their love of family.
