Originally aired in eight parts on the Discovery Channel, the four-disc set Blue Planet: Seas of Life Collector's Set tells the complete story of the ocean. This exceptional BBC-produced series was filmed in over 200 locations and features narration from Sir David Attenborough. The documentary is presented in anamorphic widescreen with audio in Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo. Individual titles include "Ocean World," "Frozen Seas," "Open Ocean," "The Deep," "Seasonal Seas," "Coral Seas," "Tidal Seas," and "Coasts." This collection comes with a number of bonus features. In addition to fact files, photo galleries, and trailers, each segment gets its own making-of featurette. The special feature "Deep Trouble" is a look at the impact of humans on the Earth's oceans.     The Blue Planet is great. It is a nature show, a documentary, but they get some amazing footage. It is hard to believe you are seeing what you're seeing. Lots of money was spent creating this series. Probably the definitive nature documentary on the ocean. I especially liked the footage of the deep sea creatures. Thank you BBC.

    This is the best series I have ever seen and I understand Planet Earth is even better and can't wait to see that one. I am going to buy this series....you just can't see or comprehend everything in one viewing...it is a set of DVD's that should be owned...
