    The Blockbuster website gave no information about this movie, except that it was made in 2005. Actually there were two "War of the Worlds" movies made in 2005. This one is an Asylum Film, produced by David Michael Latt. It's really not that bad, if you think of it as a spoof on the old Japanese monster movies. The other movie is a Pendragon picture, and is supposed to be pretty good (I haven't seen it).

    This version of WOTW is pretty bad. It stars C. Thomas Howell from Red Dawn and Rumble Fish... and if that clue isn't enough for ya to put it simply.... It REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAALLY sux! DON'T RENT IT! (PS If You're a glutton for punishment..there's a sequel!)
