A bisexual travel writer assigned the task of covering Napa Valley's most romantic hot spots invites an old college friend to join him on his quest, only to find their attraction blossoming into something much more complex in writer/director Russell Brown's look at fidelity, promiscuity, and sexual morality in the modern era. Nathan (Cole Williams) is an L.A.-based writer preparing to pen an article about the Napa Valley wine district. Recognizing that a trip to wine country is always more fun when you invite a friend along, Nathan contacts old college friend Maggie (Amber Benson), who readily agrees to join him on his trip. Though both Nathan and Maggie currently have boyfriends, their attraction to one another finds wine tasting taking a back seat to an affair that raises numerous questions as to the fragility of intimate relationships when love knows no gender. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

This is definitely NOT a "gay film." The main character is bisexual, primarily pursuing a straight affair throughout the film. This is actually a complicated love story, with the central couple (both cheating on their significant others) struggling to find an enduring link that never materializes. There's no happy ending, no riding off into the sunset, and that's what I liked about it. It's honest, complex, well done on a low budget, and even makes some powerful statements about how our childhood experiences affect our behavior in adult relationships. Bravo also to Jeremy Lelliott, with a small but significant (because he made it so) role.

Way to perpetuate myths about bisexuals! Zero plot, acting ranged from ok to poor, sound mixing really poor. Characters don't learn anything during the movie, and simply continue same as they were. Boring. Overall, skip it.

Just rent it. Its a pretty good movie. The ending bothers me a bit, but its worth watching for the acting (Amber Benson is a *really* good actress) and the cinematography.
