so sorry this series was canceled after 1 season. Lisa Kudrow was so funny. It was almost painful to watch how she was treated but really funny. Some of the camera shots really made us laugh. We watched the whole season in 1 day and watched it several times after that. Love how it poked fun at reality shows and some of the morons on them. Wish they would bring the show back!! obviously Karen did not understand the show in her review...everyone that watched it with us thought it was one of the funniest shows they had seen. Kudrows character was anything but self absorbed...she was a trooper even though she was treated so badly. Guess Karen did not get it. Don't listen to that review.....rent this today!!!!

changing times, fading star makes for the best comedy series in years. Lisa is brilliant playing Valerie whose world is being displaced and she won't let go. Give this a few episodes before judging and you will be hooked....

I enjoyed "The Comeback" immensely each week on TV and was sorry to see it cancelled -- subtle, on-target humor regarding reality shows and Hollywood. I'm really looking forward to watching the DVD now!
