Not to be confused with the 1987 Bob Rafelson/Debra Winger thriller of the same title, the 2005 Black Widow stars Giada Colagrande as Eleanora, a woman amorously involved with the shady and eccentric Karl. When Karl dies, Eleanora embarks on a trip to his bizarre home -- known as 'The Rubber House' -- in an aggressive attempt to uncover her paramour's darkest and strangest secrets. Once there, she becomes erotically involved with the residence's weird caretaker, Leslie (Willem Dafoe) -- little realizing that he harbors bizarre, hidden eccentricities to rival anything in Karl's life. Colagrande directs, from an original script that she and Dafoe (real-life husband and wife) co-authored. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi

Some of the acting was bad, and it was painfully apparent how low-budget the movie was at times. Expletives were covered up with horribly dubbed "tamer" words; the echoing was embarrassingly obvious. It might have been an okay movie it had been made better. However, I didn't really get into the story either, so I think it's just a lost cause.

I like Wilem Defoe, he's a good actor. He's the only known name in this worst of worst ever movies. The acting was so bad. High school drama classes could do better. The dubbing, which was totaly unnecessary, was bad. The story line had little if anything to do with the plot discription. This was so low budget, I think Defoe and the others, all of which were unknowns, paid them to make it. The ending was just so far out, it just didn't make any sense at all. I sat with my mouth hanging open, speachless, not believing that I had actually sat through the whole thing. Discusting, just absolutely terrible.

This is quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. As other reviewers have said, obviously low budget.....I'm guessing they gave each actor about a 12 pack tor their salary. My pet rabbit could have made a better movie than this. I don't understand how something like this gets made and it ends up on the shelves of a movie store where I actually pay money to see it. This movie should be used as a form of torture, not entertainment.
