This movie actually was a pilot for the later "Forever Knight" series on CBS. While it was not to the quality of the full series, it showed the promise of what the series would become...A real cult favorite! The acting was well done, as were the SFX (for its day) and the plot was good enough to be redone as an episode on Forever Knight. Rick Springfield, while creditable, was no Geraint Davies, and the only character to make the transition to the later series was John Kapelos as Skanke. We really loved the Canadian made series (although the 3rd. season was a bummer), but this pilot didn't quite make the grade...a wonder that the series got made & aired a few years later. A side note: I noticed in the series credits that Rick Springfield (who played Nick in the pilot, became Geraint's stunt double in the series...lol) quite a come-down for him, but at least he had a job...lol.

This movie was great. Rick played a great role. Maybe this movie inspired a little bit of Twilight, you would have to see this to see the similarities. It also has a great soundtrack. Rent it and enjoy!
