Renegade adventurer Hunter (John Beck) and his daughter Nadia (Julie St. Claire) discover, in a remote Siberian cave, inventor Nikola Tesla's deadliest device: A machine that can turn human brain waves into explosions, big and small. While returning the doomsday device to civilization by means of passenger plane, a band of terrorists led by Beck (Hannes Jaenicke) gets on the plane with plans to move the machine to a second plane and blow up the first one in mid-air, with the ten other passengers as well. But Hunter thwarts the scheme at a grave cost: His plane crashes in the mountains of British Columbia. The CIA dispatches Jason Ross (Treat Williams) to find the device, rescue the survivors, and stop the terrorists. Meanwhile, the crash survivors struggle with freezing temperatures, an avalanche, and a man-eating bear.

This was the first movie I could not continue to watch because it was so terrible. I generally like these types of movies, but.... If you'll notice during the airplane part of the movie the airplane scenes are from Cliffhanger; this is when I stopped watching the movie and sent it back to Blockbuster for a replacement. Unbelievealble... How can they get away with that....
I rented this movie as a joke, I was actually looking for the IMAX Extreme show (amazing!) and never heard of this movie, looked like a B movie so for fun I rented it.
Let me tell you, its funny, very funny, b/c its SOOOO bad! This movie actually has clips from at least 2 other movies! Both scenes from Cliffhanger & Long Kiss Goodnight are in this movie. I had no idea Hollywood would pimp their footage, but they did here. I won't tell you how many people die from a bear attack, or how long it takes one person to get to town vs. another group w/ a map, that will be for you, if you so decide to have a MST 3000 ish night. Enjoy!
