Bumerang - Bumerang (1989) Reviews
A group of ecology-minded kids decide to kidnap politician Lambert Hamel, who has voted in favor of building a nuclear power plant in their community. The scheming Hamel is delighted by his abduction; upon his release, he intends to announce that he's been captured by international terrorists, then bask in the publicity. Before this can happen however, the politician's plan backfires, and it is he who suffers mightily. Tthe young kidnappers have reluctantly invited a technology-happy kid into their scheme, they are able to preserve Hamel's dishonesty on videotape. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
