This was a good movie, with a tight tone and a desperate feel to it. It had a nice pace, and some strong characters all around. The storyline was pretty good, and offered some twists to keep your mind in the game. Well done. One of Gibson's better performances, and one of Ron Howard's stronger directing jobs. This was an amazing movie. Mel Gibson did a terrific job portraying a father willing to go to all lengths to get his son back. The acting was top-notch and combined with a well thought-out plot delivered an amazing story. There is surprising very little action, but it is the story-telling that makes this movie. This movie want to be in the film when I firest stawa it back then. I seent it and I seent it again and I was on the edge of my seat that last time, because it was a little seat for my big bottom. But Ransom, see it if you want to because I was on the edge of my seat because of it. I seent it both times, too. For real. Very cutting edge for it's day, And Mel is Gibson.
