Rock Hudson's Home Movies (1993)
Member Rating:
In this revisionist documentary, actor Eric Carr re-creates the character of Rock Hudson in order to take a look back at his films. It compares the actor's screen (and public) image with his real life and shows certain scenes, lines and situations in his films that seem to support the fact that Hudson was gay. ~ Brian Gusse, Rovi

Great documentary, The way you can just see Rock trying to come out of the closet on film and the situations he was put in. Loved it.

The title of the documentary is misleading because it's NOT Hudson's home movies, just clips of his films. It is interesting how the clips are put together to show that he was gay but you can do that with any actor's film clips. Eric Carr is boring and looks nothing like Rock Hudson. Save your time and don't rent this.
