A high-end apartment complex is the setting for demonic disaster in this like-minded splatter sequel to the 1986 cult hit Demons. A spoiled young woman named Sally (Coralina Cataldi Tassoni) is hosting her own birthday party in her apartment. Other characters in the building include a man (David Knight) and his pregnant wife (Nancy Brilli), a little boy who is alone for the evening, and a gym full of workout maniacs. In each apartment, televisions are all tuned to a horror film in which a group of young people find evidence of demons which precedes their becoming possessed. Upset that an ex-boyfriend is coming to her party, Sally goes into her room and turns on the film. A demon bursts through her television. Moments later, the possessed Sally enters the party and slaughters all of her guests, turning them into demons. The possession spreads throughout the building as tenant after tenant is transformed, leading to a furious battle between the exercise fanatics and a pack of demons. The young husband manages to stay alive and makes a desperate attempt to save his wife -- who is being tormented by the now-possessed little boy. He rescues her after the demon child gives "birth" to a Gremlins-style demon and the couple make a dangerous attempt to rappel down the outside of the tower with the raving, drooling Sally in hot pursuit. ~ Patrick Legare, Rovi

I don't know what the rest of these people were exspecting. It's from the 80s. It's Italian. It's overflowing with cheese and bad music. If you want a serious movie, go rent a American drama or something. Shhheeees. -Stone

I dont know what these other reviewers are talking about. I really enjoyed this movie. It was pretty much exactly like the first Demons...except it took place in a high-rise apartment building instead of a movie theater. It also starred a young Asia Argento, whom I admire very much. Great soundtrack, great gore & effects, and great cast & crew! If you liked the first Demons movie...I would recommend this.

I probably should have known better to rent a movie where you're told ahead of time by the synopsis that demons come through a television set. Get rid of that, the little demon baby thing chasing the pregnant woman, Sally (the birthday girl) throwing temper tantrums, the Euro 80's cheese and you might actually have a decent movie here. Yup, that's a tall order. The demons themselves and the gore actually wasn't that bad, but it's hard to get past all the other crap. The first Demons is much better, and why they didn't start this flick where the first one left off is beyond me. There's many scenes similar the first, but this one is worse....much much worse.

This movie is amazing!! Yes, there is a slight bit of bad acting but who cares!!! There are lots of visual horror masterpieces and transformation scenes similar to american werewolf in london.....and a good mix of zombie gore/transformations with teeth popping out and dangling all over the place, animals transforming ala 'the thing' and creepy puppetry ala gremlins....a good mix all and all...showcases some real talent and is a must see if you are a horror fan.

the first demons was quite good,i at least watched the whole movie. demons 2 is one of the worst zombie movies i have ever seen. i couldn't stand it and halfway through i had to pull the plug on it. the acting was grade school and the story was kindergarten at best, terrible movie, john m.

I have been looking for this movie for 10 yrs, I remember watching it when I was younger. Yes, if you compare this movie to the ones that are out there now, then of course its "corny" but when you compare it to other movies from its time, its a classic, it scared me the first time when I saw it, but now with all the effects and digital enhancements, we tend to shy away from these older classics. i love it.
