The movie that started the wet t-shirt contests. Good movie but not the best tape to DVD transfer quality.

This movie is a exciting and enthralling as it was the first time I saw it in a Palm springs, CA theater back in the summer of 1977! Get the blue-ray if you can. Worth owning too!

I saw this in Blue Ray. I never saw this movie before, but read the book back in the 70's. I have to admit, I was expecting more. It was an okay movie. I enjoyed the effects and the underwater cinematography.

What a Classic! Superb late 70's acting, great scenery, if I live to be a hundred I'll never get over my teenage infatuation for Jacqueline Bisset in this role. Stoic Nick Nolte too, seemed to be one of his forming roles, at least to me. One of very few movies I will take to time to watch again about every 5 years.
