He believes himself to be hallucinating because of the drug he's been injected with, until he himself begins turning into one of the zombie creatures. Didn't make a lot of sense, and not sure what was supposed to be real and what was supposed to be a drug trip, but I enjoyed this movie. Plot was kind of erratic, and some of the effects were cheesy ie: people's veins bursting looked like bubblegum, but I had a blast watching this.

Cheesy! Great gore, but the plot was empty & the acting was second rate. It's worth a watch if you're into gore-alone. Other than that - don't waste your time. THIS ISN'T A ZOMBIE MOVIE as the listing suggests!

Classic bad horror. They obviously went for the big gross-out scenes here knowing they weren't going to make it on plot, acting, etc. Don't take it so seriously. Jeez, didn't anyone else catch the irony of the line "You smell like a brother?" Spoken by zombie thug to cop? Priceless! I had to rewind it to make sure I heard that right.
