Based on a Stephen King novel, Cujo is not as menacing or as frightening as other film adaptations of King's popular stories and especially cannot compare to the 1976 Carrie. Cujo is a happy St. Bernard until he is bitten on the nose by a rabid bat and slowly begins manifesting the symptoms of his fatal illness. His condition deteriorates as he attacks people again and again, until finally, mom Donna Trenton (Dee Wallace) and her son Tad (Danny Pintauro) are trapped inside the family car with Cujo lurking nearby, set to kill them any way he can. A showdown is inevitable but is as predictable as the rest of the film. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

Warning: Be Prepared! This movie is very scary and will no doubt have you screaming at least once. Although the movie is very predictable, there are unexpected thrills every now and then. If you're into killer dogs and stupid story lines, than you will love Cujo.

Cujo is one of my favorite horror films, because of its brilliant plot line and how frighteningly realistic it is. Lewis Teauge was a genius in the way he directed the scene where cujo first attacked the Pinto. I'm suprised Dee Wallace and Danny Pintauro did get any award nominations. If you watch this film and then read Stephen King's novel, on which the film is based, you are in for a heart breaking shock in the end.

I think it is okay, I mean basically the whole story centers around the mother trapped in the car with her son & Cujo outside of it, trying to attack!! it has mild dog attacks!!! It is pretty creepy!!

I mean c'mon!, It's a Stephen King movie about a rabid dog. And im pretty sure you can imagine what the rest might lead into.

i had this movie delivered twice. the first time, there were 2 distinct anf visisble scratches on the disk that made it impossible to play. the second disk was completely broken. they said they wouldn't send another Cujo because i exceeded my number of send backs. well, it seems to me that BB is the one at fault here. i really wanted to see this classic in blueray.

The first copy we received stopped and started until we got so frustrated we turned it off. The replacement copy stopped and started again 3 times. We have a new, last christmas, bluray player and everything else plays fine. Something wrong with the discs we were sent.

Pretty uneventful until the end where the big intense pay off goes down. Toned down(from Stephen King's novel) for those with weak hearts and those who like happy endings. Wallace and Pintauro should have got oscars. -Stone
