Less than a year before James Cameron's turbo-charged sequel, Hollywood (or its overseas counterparts) still managed to find ways to retread the badly-worn theme of Ridley Scott's Alien, as evidenced in this 1985 low-budget item. When a mysterious canister is uncovered on Saturn's largest moon Titan, a dormant, eons-old monster is released, making lunch of both the explorers who discovered it and the rival corporation's exploration team which investigates their disappearance. The most enjoyable "creature" in this otherwise pedestrian film is the ever-leering Klaus Kinski, who plays the lecherous sole survivor of the previous expedition, but the only real source of entertainment -- the depiction of gooey, gory effects and gratuitous nudity -- is spoiled by inadequate lighting and static camera set-ups. ~ Cavett Binion, Rovi

"Rival corporations from the US and West Germany are locked in competition for commercial space supremacy..." And believe me, you'll want to call your stock broker before investing! After hiding the little ones from this film, you may want to hide yourself. This movie is dotted with four-letter words; graphic (yet cheesy, cheap) violence; and a bevy of attractive women with bad eye-shadow, who might occassionally flash their breasts. 1980's graphic displays and space suits accessorized with hockey shoulder-pads really makes one feel like it's the future. PLOT: Women scream; people die horrible deaths--you know, a cheap knock-off of Alien.

Poor camera work, dark as effects are cheap, acting sub-par. Recommend avoiding this one.

OK, I know Im probably on my own with this... but I liked this movie LOL. I love "B" sci-fi & horror movies from the 80s so this one was fun for me. It is an Alien clone of sorts, the acting is a little wooden, the effects are a little cheesy, but hey its an 80s B flick, what would you expect! TIP: If you like movies like this, try to find one called GALAXY OF TERROR. I recently found a copy of this & it was way better then this film & pretty cool!
