Composer Richard Parker (Kevin Kline) and his wife Priscilla (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) live an ordinary suburban life until they meet their new neighbors Eddy (Kevin Spacey) and Kay (Rebecca Miller). The two couples become friends until some mate-swapping is suggested by the men. The plot takes a nasty turn, however, when Richard sleeps with Kay -- who turns up, the next morning, bludgeoned to death with a baseball bat. Soon, Richard is charged with the crime and must prove his innocence. ~ Linda Rasmussen, Rovi

This movie was amazing..forst the cast.. Kevin Kline and Kevin Spaxey..wow...wow.. Then the amazing script.. What a great compelling movie..I've actually seen it twice. There were moments where Kevin Spacey looked so fresh and young ..and with his blond hair.. That and Kevin Kline's piano playing and acting.. What a great movie.. And the jazz singing.. It has everything in it..Jill

This basic plot of this story is excellent. But, there were so many holes and unexplained circumstances that the movie fails. When I started to realize what the real mystery this film presents, I became totally engrossed. However, that is exactly the problem with this movie. If you are engrossed in the detail, one cant help to notice the insurmountable flaws. Better writers could have made this a very very good movie. Kevin Spacey is at his best here.

This was an excellant action drama. Kevin Kline was the best, kept me glued to the screen the entire movie. Small part for the Forrest Whitaker, ..15 years younger, a cutie. Thumbs up again.

I waited a long time to see this. I tried to buy it at one time. I saw it a long time ago. Had to see it again. The character that Kevin Kline plays and Kevin Spacey kept me memorized.

How can you go wrong with a movie that stars the tow "K"s (Spacey & Klein). And to top it off.... a very young Forrest Whittaker. Definitely worth renting and has a great story. Loved it !

This was one of the best movies we've seen in a while. It kept us at the edge of our seats the whole time with lots of twists and turns....well worth the time spent viewing it.

Overall a good movie that keeps on twisting right up to the end. Good story line, but some of the logistics were a little hard to believe. It's definately entertaining, but at the same time a little dark. If you like psychological thrillers, then you'll love this one.
