This riveting, fact-based made-for-cable drama follows the fight of Air Force widow Janet Harduvel to clear the name of her late husband, a pilot who died when his F-16 crashed. The official cause of the mishap was listed as "pilot error," but Harduvel refuses to believe this and so launches her own investigation. She soon discovers that the problem was with the plane itself and that the Air Force is trying very hard to conceal crucial facts. Despite the bureaucracy and obstacles, the determined widow continues fighting until she finds herself facing down a major military contractor, General Dynamics, in court. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi

I liked it a lot. But then I'm a pilot and I also like Laura Dern in or out of almost anything - so there you go. Actually, it's a pretty good film - and just hope you get a wife that'll go-to-bat for you like this when you need her. Rare. One of the first times a man really wants to say, "you go girl." True story, too. ~ Dan C. below must've run-out of salt for his popcorn and that got 'im in a bad mood. The show isn't as tight as, say, "Top Gun," but his 1st sentence is wrong. The film is more in the milieu of "The Right Stuff," sans the great soundtrack. Dern came on-the-film-scene playing unsophisticates. See "Ramblin' Rose," '91. So, that review is crunk. Guess he only saw "Jurassic Park," which explains it ...

I thought this was a great movie. Very touching. Especially since I have become to know the real "Janet" the story was written about. The actress did a pretty good job of protraying her as she really is. Strong, smart, no nonsense type of women.

Overwritten, overacted, overwrought and melodramatic in every way. What we used to call "corny." It's particularly offensive to see Laura Dern play an unsophisticated woman in a patronizing way that looks like caricature. "Norma Rae" she ain't. Sight unseen, most people could guess every scene of this film before it happens. Only positive I can say is Nice to see Robert Loggia and Welker White employed.
