Miller (Hugo Stiglitz) is a reporter on to something when he sees passengers disembark from a plane and start attacking and murdering whomever they come across -- no, they are not upset with their service, they are zombies -- or more accurately ghouls who need human blood to stay alive. While flight attendants may contend that more than one ghoul is on any flight, this group was contaminated by a man exposed to radiation that leaked from a nuclear plant, and they are hereafter identifiable by their black-face make-up, if not their eating habits. When Miller tries to notify the citizens that these monsters are on the loose, he is rudely stopped by a nasty general (Mel Ferrer) who does not want to make the public unnecessarily hysterical. The monsters have a molecular structure that is not affected by bullets, and so in imitation of the accepted code that zombies only die with a shot to the head, the general launches his attack "aiming for the control center" of each zombie head, before everyone is converted into the blood-thirsty monsters. With anemic acting, murky color, and other technical problems, this is simply another zombie film among the masses. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

This movie isn't that bad, but it could have been a lot better. A bunch of folks that get contaminated by radiation go on a bloody rampage killing everyone in their path. The first half of the movie is very repetitive with the kills. Not much gore (except one dood losing an arm), everyone gets stabbed with little blood. The second half of the movie the gore starts to pick up a little and things get a little creepier atmosphere-wise. Yes, a higher budget may have made this movie a lot better, but overall it's not too bad.

This movie was not THAT HORRIBLE>> but are they zombies or what are they... and wow was most of the acting very cheesy ... they really could have done a lot better on this movie...IT was a great MOVIE idea until it was slaughtered.

It wasn't worth watching!!! The acting was okay, the movie itself was sort of boring!! Machine gun zombies, rather than eating flesh, they shoot people!! Very different from other zombie movies I have seen in the past!! It contains scenes of violence! It does have a scene of female nudity so its not for kids at all!!!

More less like a cheap Lucio Fulci movie but i have to give credit where credit's due & thats in the make up f x's dept. The gore was alright and this wasn't too bad of a movie to watch but i'm still trying to figuring out are they zombies or what?

This is one of the WORST movies I have ever had the misfortune of seeing! Anchor Bay makes the movie sound very cool but in reality, it's a big steaming pile of dog crap! AVOID IT!!!

When you're thinking about renting a movie like this you better be in the "so bad, it's funny to laugh at" mood. The movie is flatout horrible. It has cheap and cheesy F/X, no real logic, and every character is a stereo-type. It really is an insult to zombie movies as it follows virtually none of the conventions, and isn't even consistent with itself. Maybe, just maybe, it can be watched as a 70's camp take on zombies, that is so bad it's laugh out loud funny in the Mystery Science Theater 3000 kind of way. But don't rent it if you want to see zombie film that contributes to sub-genre, or if you want to be scared because you won't be.

Ok, so were to begin. I watched this movie with an open mind. I went into it with very low expectations. Boy was I ever disappointed!! The movie was horrible. It was a waste of time. The premise was interesting (people contaminated with radiation turn violent). Ok, maybe not that original of a premise, but a good one none-the-less and it had so much potential to be a good movie. The acting was horrible, the make up looked like it was done by a child and the music was out of place.People might say that I am a bit harsh..."Hey, this movie is from the 80's, give it a chance man!” The era in which the movie was made had nothing to do with my dislike of the movie. In fact, many of the movies I love especially horror movies are from the 60's, 70's and 80's!! This was a huge waste of time. Go rent something else. Give it a try if you want to...but don’t say I didn't warn you! I am giving this movie 1 star because I enjoyed the idea.

I think it was pretty good for a movie made in 1980.
