A United Nations Space Command (UNSC) cadet experiences a crisis of conscience before facing the Covenant on the battlefield, and draws inspiration from Master Chief while fighting for the future of mankind in this sci-fi action opus based on the hit X-Box franchise. As the latest crop of cadets trains to defend Earth from extraterrestrial threats, new recruit Thomas Lasky questions the need to fight. Later, after witnessing the ruthlessness of the Covenant firsthand, Lasky realizes that he may have what it takes to follow in the footsteps of the great Master Chief. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Confusing story line. Needed much more excitement to be watchable.

This movie is obviously for Halo fans only, and the under 30 group. Too slow in many parts and action didn't get going until very late on. Very murky looking, boring sets, less than even TV quality visuals, and the "aliens" were a joke. Anyone calling this a serious version of Star Ship Troopers is way off the mark. Characters weren't compelling at all. This movie gets a D, for disaster.

I felt that many parts of the movie was left out. I think they should have included more of a beginning to give a background for those who have not played any of the Halo games.

I liked this movie. I know they are only testing the waters with this title, since making a full on production that would launch in theaters would cost a lot more. But when they do please producers use the "Fall of Reach" story line.

Definitely for Halo fans. This one was shot with a lot of the same sensibilities as some of the shorts released around the same time as Halo 3 and after. I'm not sure what I expected, but once I got used to the idea that this wasn't a high-dollar Hollywood production, I really enjoyed it. The aliens were actually believable, the effects were decent. The acting was well done, especially the female characters. Watching this is time well-spent for Halo fans but it will likely be hard for anyone else to get into.

GREAT movie to watch if you play the Halo games. I was pretty impressed with the production quality and the story was quite good. I liked it a heck of a lot more than I thought I would as I'm not really a Halo fanboy.

I have seen the sneak peeks on YouTube and it is very well done. I am not a gamer nor do I know anything about the Halo series, but I do love SciFi.
