Channing Tatum, Max Minghella, Kate Mara, and Oscar Isaac star in this drama about a group of former friends who come together for their 10-year high-school reunion. As the drinks and nostalgia start to flow, famous musician Reeves (Isaac) reconnects with his teenage crush Elise (Mara) and reveals a major secret about his biggest radio hit. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
A group of 28 year olds goes to their 10th high school reunion and find out that everyone is pretty much as screwed up as ever. Pretty light fare with a storyline you've seen dozens of times. Lots of familiar faces in the cast.
This movie is a light and fluffy piece of cinema with a solid cast of mostly good actors/actresses and Channing Tatum (who I still think sucks). Could have used some random nudity and an R rating but other then that for a 90 minute movie this was pretty solid.
If you were ever looking for a reason to avoid your 10-year high-school reunion, this is it. I know just how scintillating a film is when I begin checking how much longer a film has to go just after the first 30 minutes. This is a great recruiting film for alcoholics anonymous. It's a downer. If you can find something better to do for an hour and a half, do it.
I only watch a little over 30 mins before I took it out. What a most boring movie I watch in my life. It mostly going back and forth and the ones that went to this high school and they did go to didn't have much going on just talking about there high school days and not much what they did now in the present. I would rather watch Love Actually or even Romy And Michele's High School Reunion (that to me a better high school reunion movie) instead of this movie at least those characters had something and they stay on those characters a bit more than this movie did.
