An underwater earthquake unleashes a hungry prehistoric predator with the power to swim through sand as if it were water in this creature feature starring Brooke Hogan and Corin Nemec. As the unstoppable beast turns a nearby beach party into an all-you-can-eat buffet, the terrified revelers run screaming for their lives. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
Pretty cheesy and covered most of the usual movie cliches you'd expect. (the greedy promoter, the expert, the local law, the head of the town, etc.) It wasn't terrible but wasn't fantastic either. Worth a look if you like cheesy movies.
I love campy scifi/horror, but this was just bad, bad. bad. Should have known when it said Brooke Hogan starring. Would have had potential to be a funny comedy...but it wasn't funny either. Just sad waste of time.
Seriously...if you rented this movie thinking it was going to be great than you don't watch many movies. Of course it wasn't great. It's a B movie that completely tries to be like JAWS in a weird sort of way. However, it was hilarious and for those that like B movies, you will get it. Might be better viewed with a few cold ones and a few friends to giggle with.
