I was greatly looking forward to seeing this, but neither my friend or I liked it. It was filmed with a hand-held camera, continually jerking around, making me sick. And the dialog did not seem realistic to either of us for police officers, they continually joked and cursed. Was this review helpful? Yes

A complete surprise, thought it was another cheesy movie to show the hard work of police but it was something completely different than I expected it to be! It was funny, emotional, graphic in really different and almost nasty way. The action scenes were intense and I couldn't take my eyes off for one minute. It was real and definitely showed a side of California I hadn't really embraced yet. ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES OF THE YEAR by far. Was this review helpful? Yes

This is a great cop film from beginning to end. I enjoyed the found-footage type movie (think Blair Witch Project) portraying two LA cops and their close on the job partnership yet the demanding responsibility of the job. The actors were excellent ( one of Gyllenhaal's best) and the story feels very real. Liked it alot... Was this review helpful? Yes
