November 5, 2012...........Battleship was a whole lot better than this dumb movie. The acting was very bad, but the special effects were very good, I liked seeing the old ships, I really hated the ice cream love.

For some reason I got it mixed up with new release titled "American Battleship". -- 30 minutes into movie, I stopped it, I found myself cheering for the Aliens, ma bad...

I don't know what movie Joseph M. was watching but American Warships was terrible............... VERY BAD MOVIE !!!!!! DON'T WASTE UR TIME.................!!!

Warning - - - this video was put out by "The Asylum" - - - not to be confused with Battleship, put out by Universal Pictures. The Asylum puts out the video version of a SCAM. As with poor Arturo, The Asylum counts on the gullible to rent or buy the video thinking it is one they had been looking forward to. Difference is, all Asylum videos have this in common: BAD PLOT / BAD SCRIPT / BAD ACTING / BAD AUDIO BACKGROUND / BAD AUDIO RECORDING / BAD VIDEO SPLICING - - - - - just BAD, BAD, BAD. A normal person will stop watching before the end - - - those who watch to the end will wish they hadn't. As for the reviews, you'll see basically 2 types: BAD by those who realize they wasted their time, or GOOD by those who must have a vested financial interest in the success of the video.

This is just one more to add to Asylums legacy of great classics. Special effects and acting make this a movie to see. This really makes one wonder if aT&T really hates puppies.

This movie was terrible!!! As soon as I realized it was an bad alien movie, I shut it off. The acting was the worst i've seen. Just cheesy!

Although it wasn't meant to be a cinematic masterpiece or a huge money making hit, I thought it was good, I like it so much I looked up the production company and have been watching a bunch of movies they put out. It is campy, be prepared for that. But as long as you don't take your movies too seriously and are willing to have a good time laughing at the special effects and acting, you will probably enjoy this movie and other "The Asylum" flicks. Carl Weathers was great.

I DIDN'T LIKE IT. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BETTER WITH THE STARS THAT WERE IN IT. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Once again I stand firmly on my review,the music score and story-line was also very great,all info on the stats of the USS Iowa were correct.Sincerely Joseph M.MACV-SOG -1964-1972.
