Back when the Chernobyl nuclear reactor was up and running, Pripyat was the place the workers called home. But 25 years after one of the worst power-plant accidents in history, the city serves as an eerily silent testament to the dangers of nuclear power. Later, after getting unexpectedly stranded in Pripyat, the tourists and their guide realize they are being hunted. Now the harder they try to flee, the faster their numbers dwindle until only a few are left standing. One-stop shopping for radiation-induced cannaballistic zombie medical experiments gone wrong, in a foreign country. Seen it before, just not sure if it was all in the same movie before!

Really liked this one it had scary parts the ending was awesome too! Bought this brand new on blu ray and the picture quality on blu ray is awesome! It has pop singer Jesse McCartney in it cool movie worth the rent! This was entertaining and not too long!

The only thing scary in this film is another bad quality horror flick. Nothing interesting to see here as the cast members are lame and the story doesn't have any good twists or turns. Do the smart thing and stay the heck out of Chernobyl Diaries.

This movie was not what I expected. The previews made me think it was a ghost story. Definitely not a ghost story! Still very intense and thrilling. It started out slow with bad acting and script, but got better as it got scarier. Worth the rental fee!
