When a young woman (Adelaide Clemens) loses her father (Sean Bean) to mysterious supernatural forces, she must descend into the bowels of hell to find him and discover her true identity in this follow-up to the 2006 adaptation of Konami's Silent Hill video-game franchise. Solomon Kane's Michael J. Bassett directed from his own script. ~ Jeremy Wheeler, Rovi
This follow-up is better than the first and has some wicked special effects, but still not the greatest "scary movie".... because I didn't find it very scary. Yeah, they explained events from the first flick (which is the only reason I watched it), but the plot was still basically weak. It looks like they left it open for another sequel....which I won't be watching.
I was pleasantly surprised, better than the first. more action faster pace. Same kind of disturbing images. If you hated the first, skip this. If the first was Ok for you, then watch this one.
I don't understand all the bad reviews. It was EXACTLY the same as the first one with a bit of a different storyline. I think, if anything, this one was creepier than the original. If you didn't like the first one, or this one, don't see the next one and complain about it. I have seen all of the Paranormal Activity movies and hate them with a passion, but I won't complain beyond movie 1.
If you liked the first one of this, you should like the second. I will see the third!
Excellent!!! Very interesting the whole way thru, I didnt want it to end and it ended quickly. I wish it was at least 100 minutes long, Loved it!! I hope there will be more SH Movies.
I was so excited when this came out as I LOVED the first one. This sequel is a bit disappointing compared to the first. It is not scary but more disturbing and the acting leaves something to be desired. Also, if you haven't seen the first one in awhile, you will want to watch it just to brush up as this one doesn't explain much. Otherwise, it is a pretty good movie and the graphics are definitely awesome.
