A group of guys stumble upon an alien invasion during a faux neighborhood watch meeting where they usually do some male bonding to get away from their dull suburban lives in this sci-fi comedy starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, and Will Forte. Akiva Schaffer directs from a script by Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg. Jonah Hill and Rosemarie DeWitt co-star. ~ Jeremy Wheeler, Rovi
I found this movie entertaining especially with the idea of aliens living under Costco. Fairly good situational comedy ,circumstances that arise from a group of guys all with their own special needs to join this watch group. Again Ben Stiller plays the same nerdy role that he is good at, with Vince Vaughn, the over baring friend, always with his own agenda. Good enough for a rental.
Cold have been a funny movie about a bumbling neighborhood watch group going after a real crime.... but no... the script was lame and instead of keeping it simple and funny they had to bring in these stupid aliens and even then they couldn't be original and had to do a cheap ripoff of "Aliens". Very disappointing.
this has got to be the dumbest movie i have ever watched 10 minutes of...thats all i could take! all the charactors were crude and not funny at all...what a waste of talent for some of these actors...dont even rent it much less buy it!
I really wanted to like this movie but it was terrible, bad all the way around. It is like they could not decide if it was to be scary, funny, drama or everything in between and it missed on all marks.
Best LOL movie in quite a while. There is a lot of stupid Adult comedy, but that is what I was expecting.
Do Not watch with the kids!
It's rated R for a good reason.
Very dissapointed! Stopped the movie midway disgusted I had wasted my time watching this. The actors themselves must have desperatley needed a paycheck to be involved in this brainless script. Don't waste YOUR time!!!!
I like Ben Stiller. This is terrible. Rent "Keeping the Faith" which is a terrific Ben Stiller movie. Vince Vaughn is probably a very funny guy. I find that his humor lacks timing and any semblance of subtlety. He's just a freight train running over your sense of humor. I don't know if I've ever seen a good movie with Vaughn in it.
