A group of guys stumble upon an alien invasion during a faux neighborhood watch meeting where they usually do some male bonding to get away from their dull suburban lives in this sci-fi comedy starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, and Will Forte. Akiva Schaffer directs from a script by Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg. Jonah Hill and Rosemarie DeWitt co-star. ~ Jeremy Wheeler, Rovi
Totally unrealistic, slow script and not funny at all, the Aliens were too funny to be scary - again I had to forward this dvd to make it end. The cast was too old for these characters.
Typical Vince Vaughn acting. Dominates the movie when he is just an extra character. Ben Stiller could of had so many more funny parts but they didnt go that route.Silly movie. The opening part was making it look so awesome. NOT!!
cheesy storyline held hostage by good actors. the big names in this film are the only thing that keeps this movie going. it was tolerable but i wouldve been mad if i had gone to a theater to see it
Great Movie, Fun to watch, and Entertaining. A little action , a little comedy, and aliens. Don't expect to bust a gut laughing or get an adrenaline rush but them guns well were more like pop cap's. So just kick back, chill out, and enjoy a fun movie
PEACE....LOVE RULES!
I like Ben Stiller. This is terrible. Rent "Keeping the Faith" which is a terrific Ben Stiller movie. Vince Vaughn is probably a very funny guy. I find that his humor lacks timing and any semblance of subtlety. He's just a freight train running over your sense of humor. I don't know if I've ever seen a good movie with Vaughn in it.
