Authentic to that period in time. Gives a real feel for the characters and the mentality that prevailed in the gangster world. It hooks you for another episode.

Truly an HBO series, so classic looking for the timeline the 1920's, great work by Director MS & Executive MW and young unknown actor to me Michael Pitt makes the series, a good actor plus Steve Buscemi one of my faves for years- fun to watch, a li'l piece of Heaven on HBO>
