Mike Wallis' unusual Western Good for Nothing stars Cohen Holloway as a bandit who kidnaps a young woman (Inge Rademeyer) and attempts to have his way with her, but finds himself struck by impotence. He holds onto his captive while looking for a cure for his condition, but eventually the two find themselves on the run from a posse who believe that the woman is his accomplice and aim to kill them both. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi

I was pleasantly surprised with the over all production acting and plot of this little New Zealand gem of a western movie. Much better than the average BB low production rentals. If you like the trailer then you should give it a watch,as the plot is a little different from the average western, the make up is gritty and gives a sense of the way it was, with some mild humor noted in the trailer. Not a high production set ,and not sure why after seven posse members did not need their horses, why they kept sharing 1 horse, just a nit picking question.

Surprise how "real" the characters were, but the script left a lot to be desired. The shoot outs were the best, lots of gun fire and no one drops. Amazing. The scenes were spectacular, but the script needed real help. Overall, not great, but not bad either.

What a gem of a movie from New Zealand. We are always looking for a decent western and this was a pleasant surprise tho a low budget project. Good actors, unique plot, a little comedy, and a real grittyness that does not occur in movies often. The scenery was wonderful. Rent this one for something different!
