what a boring, pretentious, aren't we smart and coy kind of film. blech. tried way too hard to be unique. The Royal Tenenbaums was so much better.

Charming, sweet film with the decidedly quirky directing style of Wes Anderson evident. Excellent screenplay and evocation of the 1960's with excellent performances all around. A must-see for audiences from 13-103. I highly recommend it!

I really didnt like the story line of this movie. It was to weird. It left a impression on my 9 yr old. that kids can run away and live together. He still brings it up every now and then. I would not recomend this movie.

Weird, funny, sad, unforgettable. Reminded me of early Coen Brothers films with their off-the-wall qualities. Watch for a hilarious glimpse of Harvey Keitel as a Boy Scout leader. I'd like to see this film again soon. Each scene is filled with so many intriguing details that I wanted to stop the action and look at everything.

    I was anticipating a wonderful flick with the calliber of actors in it but I couldn't sit through the whole movie. Even my teenage daughter was uncomfortable in certain parts. Not our style of movie and I will definitely read reviews in advance before ordering future films.
