An NYPD hostage negotiator (Elizabeth Banks) attempts to talk cop-turned-fugitive Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington) down from a high ledge, but she learns that he may have a hidden motive for threatening to take his own life. I thought it was an ok movie to watch...not the best, but ok.

You may THINK you know what is going on, but there are so many twists in this well-written plot that it is a BLAST to try to keep up. Nothing predictable, which is FUN. Good acting. Really good directing. Excellent writing!

While I usually have trouble staying interested in a movie that has a lot of talking, I was able to stay with this movie. It definitely held my interest. What I really enjoyed was the action. Especially the ending was very action packed! I also liked the commentary after the movie was over, or the "behind the scenes footage" called "The Ledge" .

Man on a Ledge is an excellent and suspenseful film and for me, rather nerve racking. The reason, I have acrophobia at the most severe level. Discovering Nick (Sam Worthington) was actually on a ledge, outside the skyscraper, added to the tension. The story line is good, in its own right, but having the fear of heights will have you squirming in your seat.

The movie had some good action scenes, but the plot was semi-predictable and cliche after the first 15 minutes. One can easily figure out who the bad guys are and how the movie will end. It's just a question of what they will use as filler for the rest of the movie to keep our attention from wandering away from the movie.

This was an actors out of work drama. A bunch of talent performers, who you don't see that much any more, tossed into this flix. Technically this script was noticably wrong in so many ways. When looking for prints they never thought to check the window, which he had his hands all over. Also when you have someone ready to jump, someone stays with him or her at all times. Not leaving the jumper for long intervals while you decide who is going to take charge. Not a believeable story.

Good acting by Sam and Elizabeth Banks. NO reason for that bimbo with the mega push up bra!! get rid of that trashy look and she isn't intelligent enough to do those things! She belongs at Hooters....the movie would of been extra good without the bimbo and the annoying brother.

    At first the movie was a bit confusing as it flicked between past to present but then it stayed in the present time and slowly it came together as to why the ex-con was out on the ledge. I don't want to give the movie away but it was a good movie, a bit of mystery and tense moments and a good ending.
