A teenager (Jennifer Lawrence) and her mother (Elisabeth Shue) move to a new town and make a gruesome discovery about the house next door in this tale of terror from Hush director Mark Tonderai. Shortly after learning that the neighboring house was recently the scene of a horrific double homicide, the curious teen forges a tender friendship with the boy who cheated death (Max Thieriot) on that fateful night. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
This movie was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a while, Comedic genius!....Wait, what was that? It wasn't supposed to be a comedy? But, the girl running all over the place......the crack smoking parents...are you sure? Well then...this movie is bad. Absolutely terrible. If you wanna good laugh at a bad movie with terrible acting and a horrible plotline, then this is the movie for you.Otherwise, skip it.
Plenty of suspense peppered with very effective uses of the (cover your eyes) startle factor- a surprisingly clever cut above the often hackneyed offerings found in today's Terror/Horror genre.
Excellent movie! Lots of twists and turns to keep you entertained and a shocking ending to say the least. Excellent acting by Jennifer Lawrence and Max Thieriot.
