The serial Westerns of this period were great things to grow up with. Unlike many later or earlier, there was less Racism. Also, Values were taught through Adult example. While today's flicks may be more "realistic" Morally, for kids to grow up with a Universe where Good always wins, that being Nice isn't Stupid, that Bad Behavior is NEVER gotten away with is "A Good Thing".
