This drama from director Yu-Hsiu Camille Chen explores the dynamics that unfold amid a dysfunctional family during a hot Australian summer. At the center of it all are three sisters: Christine (Arielle Gray), a med student coming to terms with her own sexual identity; Anna (Melanie Munt), a young woman with acting aspirations struggling with an unhappy marriage to a filmmaker; Nina (Nina Deasley), a widow with two small children. Their mother, Susan, slips out of remission from breast cancer, and the clan gathers for one final Christmas together.
