Nearly 70 years after the US military engaged an mysterious flying craft in the nighttime sky over Los Angeles, the vengeful interplanetary visitors return to settle the score in this sci-fi action adventure starring Kel Mitchell and Nia Peeples. When the invaders attempt to cripple the military by destroying our communications technology, disgraced Air Force Reserve Captain Tyler Laughlin rounds up a small squadron of determined survivors, and leads a mission to knock the alien mothership right out of the sky. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
I rented it thinking that it was "Battle: LA". I wasted $4.00 on it. Horrible acting and script. Please note to renters that this movie is not the newer "Battle: LA". I feel I deserve a refund.
I jokingly call this a "Stinker" of a movie , its okay because its mindless entertainment .
Definitely not along the lines of "Independence Day"
Closer to the Cheesy SF series of the 70's and 80's
this was terrible. not even worth 1 star. I am dumber after watching this movie. I cant believe i watched it all the way through. I have to go be sick now.
WOW!!!! The reviews were not kidding. This movie is so horrible I would have thought it was made in the 70s. Cartoonish animation and wow what horrible acting.
I like how the white guy freezes up and can't move his plane. but the Mexican girl was a badass and the two brothers had something totally different going on as far as acting abilities...Nia Peeples did not make a good whatever she was but is still a babe. I felt ripped off at first but, had some good laughs . It would make a good Mystery Science Theater 3000 movie...
Horrible acting and cheesy special effects. Don't waste your time. If you have not watched a movie, don't review it and rate it. You run the stars up on junk movies like this one and mislead others.
WARNING - - this is a MOCKBUSTER put out by THE ASYLUM. This video is a knock off both in title or theme or both. They do no original or quality work. There is commonality in all of THE ASYLUM films however - - none of them are worth watching - - BAD PLOT / BAD SCRIPT / BAD ACTING / BAD AUDIO BACKGROUND / BAD AUDIO RECORDING / BAD CGI / BAD VIDEO SPLICING - - - just BAD, BAD, BAD. The only entertainment value you will likely find is a competition with others to see who can count the most mistakes or the most cheesy lines, stolen sound effects and poor imagry. Unfortunately, this video rental company doesn't warn us of crappy videos - - I think they are more interested in inflating their video selection count for comparisons to their competition. I have seen a few reviewers provide relatively high ratings on some of the Asylum videos - - I can only conclude they are either high on something, or have a financial interest in luring more gullible viewers in. You've been warned!
