Nearly 70 years after the US military engaged an mysterious flying craft in the nighttime sky over Los Angeles, the vengeful interplanetary visitors return to settle the score in this sci-fi action adventure starring Kel Mitchell and Nia Peeples. When the invaders attempt to cripple the military by destroying our communications technology, disgraced Air Force Reserve Captain Tyler Laughlin rounds up a small squadron of determined survivors, and leads a mission to knock the alien mothership right out of the sky. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
I should have read the reviews, it would have saved me the horrible time I wasted watching this! One of the biggest mistakes in watching this. Save yourselves! Pass this one by!
Bad acting, bad special effects. Don't quite sure I'd call it a rip off of Battle Los Angeles because this one was released first... but the story line is similar. Don't waste the money on the rental. Wait for it to come on TV if you're determined to see it.
Horrible acting and cheesy special effects. Don't waste your time. If you have not watched a movie, don't review it and rate it. You run the stars up on junk movies like this one and mislead others.
WARNING - - this is a MOCKBUSTER put out by THE ASYLUM. This video is a knock off both in title or theme or both. They do no original or quality work. There is commonality in all of THE ASYLUM films however - - none of them are worth watching - - BAD PLOT / BAD SCRIPT / BAD ACTING / BAD AUDIO BACKGROUND / BAD AUDIO RECORDING / BAD CGI / BAD VIDEO SPLICING - - - just BAD, BAD, BAD. The only entertainment value you will likely find is a competition with others to see who can count the most mistakes or the most cheesy lines, stolen sound effects and poor imagry. Unfortunately, this video rental company doesn't warn us of crappy videos - - I think they are more interested in inflating their video selection count for comparisons to their competition. I have seen a few reviewers provide relatively high ratings on some of the Asylum videos - - I can only conclude they are either high on something, or have a financial interest in luring more gullible viewers in. You've been warned!
