The enchanting Snow White (Kristen Stewart) joins forces with the fierce Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), who was recruited by the diabolical Queen (Charlize Theron) to kill the fair beauty, and together they fight to rid their kingdom of evil in this bold new take on the fairy-tale classic from commercial director Rupert Sanders. Obsessed with being the fairest woman in the land, the Queen learns that Snow White will soon surpass her in beauty, and seeks to achieve immortality by consuming the young girl's heart. But the Huntsman is the only one capable of braving the dark forest to seek out Snow White. Threatened with death should he refuse to follow his order, the Huntsman finds Snow White, and begins training her for the arduous battle ahead. Meanwhile, a handsome prince (Sam Claflin) falls hopelessly under Snow White's spell. Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, and Stephen Graham co-star as the seven dwarfs. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Great Visuals and a very good story. I do not like Kristen Stewart and she was not annoying in this film..... so that is a plus.

Decent Movie! It had a dark twist to Snowwhite. Which was good, because it's not your normal snow white story. I like it!

Enjoyed this movie much more than expected. It flowed well and except for a weak ending it was very well done. Absolutely worth watching.

FINALLY!! They released a darker version of this fairy tale (and I loved it). I would not suggest you let your kids watch this one. The special fx was great and the acting was pretty good. Saw this in the theater and now I have it on blu. Worth a watch.

Was a very good movie. My wife and I thought it had a lot of action and a little bit of love kiss.

Well I can see why it made mixed reviews, the movie was mixed up as well. Parts of it were well done and captivating, like Therons scenes but the other half was horrible and corney. As was the ending. It's should've been called Snow White and the Queen, anything but the huntsman. He was supposidly supposed to be her true love but Stewart had no romance with him at all. And the audience had no connection with her whatsoever. It probably would've been better if someone else was cast as Snow White but I guess the director was too busy sleeping with her and not noticing her horrible acting

It should be great to watch in the theater, but not on DVD. The story looks too dark for kids, but it isn't sophisticated enough for adults. So it is just another Kristen Stewart teen flick.

Not what I was expecting. Charlize Theron & Chris Hemsworth were really good in the movie, but Kristen Stewart was horrible as Snow White.

Charlize Theron made this movie! Effects and storyline were good as well. Kristin Stewart and Chris Hemsworth pretty much just stand there and pant a bit but Charlize more than makes up for that. Worth watching!

My personal reviews are usually right on with the BB average, but I give this one an extra notch. I liked Stewart in the role of Snow, I liked the bits of Christian references and imagery, and I liked the darkness of the tale without losing too much of the traditional romance.

As stated by earlier reviewers, this is a different twist on a classic childhood fairy tale. Rented it not expecting much, but it was actually half decent. Not a movie for kids, as that is my suggestion only. Sort of dark and could be scary for a young one. Overall an ok movie.
