The enchanting Snow White (Kristen Stewart) joins forces with the fierce Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), who was recruited by the diabolical Queen (Charlize Theron) to kill the fair beauty, and together they fight to rid their kingdom of evil in this bold new take on the fairy-tale classic from commercial director Rupert Sanders. Obsessed with being the fairest woman in the land, the Queen learns that Snow White will soon surpass her in beauty, and seeks to achieve immortality by consuming the young girl's heart. kristen stewart was awful in this, awful. Her face did not change throughout the entire movie, mouth gaping, face blank..staring awful The evil queen was great, as was the Huntsman.....snow white was greatly lacking

Wonderful! Even if you're not a fan of Kristen Stewart you'd have to admit she's really great in this. Special effects:some of the best I've ever seen. Charlize perfect.

One of the best versions of Snow White ever even though Kristen Steward was in it. Cherize Theron is the best evil queen ever and the story, special effects, and acting were all very good, I honestly never saw this movie coming but I am very pleased, Its a great watch.

Good story, great graphics, decent acting. Loved Charlize Theron, she was amazing. The only thing i didnt really get a feel for was the sort of love triangle, it never really formed, there was no real chemistry in my opinion with the huntsman and snow white, although i like the acting i just think there needed to be more character relationship development. I would not recommend for children too young as well as its a bit dark.

I saw this in the theatre and really liked it. The visuals were great and the costumes were unlike any other. If anything, go to see it for the costumes. They're miraculous!

This is NOT your little sister's Snow White. With Death, darkness,trolls, dark magic, ferries and true loves kiss, this movie breaks away from the cutesy fairy tale and moves into a broader audiences preference of action films. The story line is still left intact, however the action goes well beyound the children's books. In fact, so much so, I doubt it is appropriate for the little ones at all. I liked it but only rated it a neutral because there are way better movies as well as way worse ones. I would wait and rent on DvD, but still worth seeing at the theater. Go and have fun and do not over expect anything and you will have a good experience.

This movie had the potential to be a very good movie and started out as such. Unfortunately the story was the one thing that stopped it from being a very good movie. Visually it was beautiful but when referring to the story I kept finding myself thinking there were certain points in the movie that didn't make sense and didn't need to be apart of the story. The main disappoinment was the ending of the film. I found myself quite disappointed at the ended which to me is one of the most important parts. There was a resolution to one of the major point of the film but the rest was just left hanging in the air. It was like they wanted to put a love story in there but they just didn't know how to incorporate into the film.So instead of leaving it out or adding on an extra five minutes in the film to properly incorporate one, they just played with it. Had a slight complex for it with no resolution. Which left me feeling disappointed with the film.

    Charlize Theron made this movie! Effects and storyline were good as well. Kristin Stewart and Chris Hemsworth pretty much just stand there and pant a bit but Charlize more than makes up for that. Worth watching!

    My personal reviews are usually right on with the BB average, but I give this one an extra notch. I liked Stewart in the role of Snow, I liked the bits of Christian references and imagery, and I liked the darkness of the tale without losing too much of the traditional romance.

    As stated by earlier reviewers, this is a different twist on a classic childhood fairy tale. Rented it not expecting much, but it was actually half decent. Not a movie for kids, as that is my suggestion only. Sort of dark and could be scary for a young one. Overall an ok movie.
