The enchanting Snow White (Kristen Stewart) joins forces with the fierce Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), who was recruited by the diabolical Queen (Charlize Theron) to kill the fair beauty, and together they fight to rid their kingdom of evil in this bold new take on the fairy-tale classic from commercial director Rupert Sanders. Obsessed with being the fairest woman in the land, the Queen learns that Snow White will soon surpass her in beauty, and seeks to achieve immortality by consuming the young girl's heart. Charlize Theron basically carried the movie. If you're not a fan of Kristen Stewart, Charlize more than makes up for it.

Pretty good, actually. It moved well...Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth were good in their roles....but it was Charlize Theron, who played the evil Queen, who really stole the show. She was very good ! Nice special effects - - but I must admit....I am growing a bit tired of the same blue/ green look throughout the movie, with the same computer animated "monsters"...in this case, the Troll by the bridge. I have seen this same "animated monster" roar, with teeth sticking out, and the person's hair its roaring at flop back because of the force in so many movies now, it's getting old. Good movie overall, just seen the same special effects over and over in the past few years now.

Charlize Theron really stands out in this very good adaption of Snow White. Great effects and stunning visual scenes. Maybe too many battle scenes. Would have enjoyed more in a big movie theater.

A total disappointment, Charlize was great, Stewart should retire, I think she is in the "twilight "of her career. I am glad they threw her off the sequel for snow. Mirror Mirror was much better IMHO.

Amazing. Great new twist on the classic fairytale. More Grimm fairytale then disney fairytale. All actors did great, Kristen Stewart great as snow white, Chris did a great job as well in making the huntsman a relatable character. There is also great action scenes and beautiful landscapes. It is a great story that both men and women will love.

    Charlize Theron made this movie! Effects and storyline were good as well. Kristin Stewart and Chris Hemsworth pretty much just stand there and pant a bit but Charlize more than makes up for that. Worth watching!

    My personal reviews are usually right on with the BB average, but I give this one an extra notch. I liked Stewart in the role of Snow, I liked the bits of Christian references and imagery, and I liked the darkness of the tale without losing too much of the traditional romance.

    As stated by earlier reviewers, this is a different twist on a classic childhood fairy tale. Rented it not expecting much, but it was actually half decent. Not a movie for kids, as that is my suggestion only. Sort of dark and could be scary for a young one. Overall an ok movie.
