The enchanting Snow White (Kristen Stewart) joins forces with the fierce Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), who was recruited by the diabolical Queen (Charlize Theron) to kill the fair beauty, and together they fight to rid their kingdom of evil in this bold new take on the fairy-tale classic from commercial director Rupert Sanders. Obsessed with being the fairest woman in the land, the Queen learns that Snow White will soon surpass her in beauty, and seeks to achieve immortality by consuming the young girl's heart. But the Huntsman is the only one capable of braving the dark forest to seek out Snow White. Threatened with death should he refuse to follow his order, the Huntsman finds Snow White, and begins training her for the arduous battle ahead. Charlize Theron made this movie! Effects and storyline were good as well. Kristin Stewart and Chris Hemsworth pretty much just stand there and pant a bit but Charlize more than makes up for that. Worth watching!

My personal reviews are usually right on with the BB average, but I give this one an extra notch. I liked Stewart in the role of Snow, I liked the bits of Christian references and imagery, and I liked the darkness of the tale without losing too much of the traditional romance.

As stated by earlier reviewers, this is a different twist on a classic childhood fairy tale. Rented it not expecting much, but it was actually half decent. Not a movie for kids, as that is my suggestion only. Sort of dark and could be scary for a young one. Overall an ok movie.

I agree with all the other comments. Charlize was awesome in the movie. Kristen not so much. I was like they knew she is not a good actress so lets give her less words.

Charlize Theron's acting is extremely good in this film, but unfortunately it does not make up for the horrible acting skills of Kristen Stewart. In fact Charlize Theron's amazing performance just shows the huge contrast between a good actress and a poor one.

I can't stand Kristen Stewart most of the time, but she actually did a decent job in this movie. Charlize Theron is great, as always. Plenty of action, not too scary for the kids, and didn't get bogged down in messy love story. Plus, dwarf Ian McShane & Bob Hoskins!

Well Kristen Stewart is of course the worst actress in history. And although she didnt do the part justice. Plus shes a pretty homely looking girl to be portraying a beautiful Princess. I would have like to have seen someone else in the roll. Charlize Theron however was absolutely amazing. I would suggest you rent this. It is well written and apparently Kristen simply slept with the director to get her part.
