An entertaining movie about the events surrounding the Manhatten Project. Although there have been many films on this topic, this one focuses on the relationship between the military commander (Gen. Leslie Groves) and the head of the science team, J. Robert Oppenheimer. There is quite a bit of time spent showing dissension among the physicists on the project over the idea of dropping the new bomb on Japan. The actor portraying Oppenheimer looks very much like him. (I met him once).
