Twilight series star Taylor Lautner stars in director John Singleton's thriller about a teen who finds himself in mortal danger after realizing that his entire childhood has been built on lies. Realizing that the people who raised him aren't his real parents after stumbling across a childhood photo of himself on a website devoted to missing children, the frightened teen flees for his life as FBI agents Frank Burton (Frank Molina) and Sandra Burns (Antonique Smith) race to protect him and uncover the truth about his mysterious past. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
I really like the movie plot. Teenagers can be jolt out of their comfort zone with this movie. I love all movies which push the teenagers to get closer to reality and learn life lessons. Hey, teenage girls like Taylor Lautner, so it is a perfect cast to get teenagers to watch movies other than Love stories.
An OK movie with an OK plot. The biggest downfall is Taylor Lautner, who has the charisma, screen presence and lead capabilities of a 2x4 piece of wood. The supporting cast tires hard, and the movie is apparently set up for a sequel, but this movie's lameness will probably nix that concept. We'll see.
Very disappointing. When I read the synopsis, the plot seemed intriguing, so I rented the movie. Big mistake. This was obivously a try to get more money out of the Lautner name while the Twilight series is popular. His acting was very poor in this movie. His whole task is apparently to maintain a Neanderthal glare throughout the movie. The script wirting was terrible, and the plot went from interesting to lame within the first half of the movie. I was hoping a big name like Sigourney Weaver could somehow save the movie. She didn't; her role was small. Unrealistic action and several plot holes capped it off. Unless you're an adolescent with a poster of Lautner on your wall, I doubt you will find any redeeming qualitities in this.
This movie is retarded. Some good action sequences, but the acting is garbage, the script sucks, and the story is all over the place. At the end of the movie, you find out that all of the parts leading to the end are for nothing because they never go into detail of what the plot is about. Stupid movie, sucky actors, no point in watching. I'd rather watch twilight and I really hate twilight it's also garbage. How they even got a budget to produce this garbage is beyond me.
