Nice movie. Maggie Elizabeth Jones steals the show, at least the first third of it. Johannson's haircut a good disguise. She didn't look like this when she..... What zoo?

I really enjoyed the story line of this movie; it was better than I expected, in a different sort of way. Very good for families..

What a good film this is. Matt Damon is such a good actor, especially in a family oriented film such as this. Great feel good film that the whole family will enjoy.

Fun, though embelished, story. Everyone enjoyed it from start to finish. The ending comes together a bit too perfectly....but I guess that's what happy endings are all about.

Pretty good movie. Slow start but finally gets to it. Worth watching with the family.

Depressing, overly dramatic, not for children. The cover is a complete sham, looks like a light-hearted comedy about animals. Nope, depressing psychobable mixed with cheesiest scenes and cliche lines and characters (sweet young kid/brat older kid). Huge disapointment. Glad I did not spend big bucks to see this in a theater. Scarlet looks...well...she doesn't in this movie.

The feel good elements were overshadowed by the unnecessary cursing. I guess the same could be said for Goonies though.... Now as a dad I have a different perspective.

Very funny! Scarlett Johansson was wonderful. Benjamin Mee is a very likable character, someone you'd like to hang out with. Maggie Elizabeth Jones was Marvelous. As others have mentioned it is not meant to be a comedy but it is. It is also a movie about grief and figuring out how to survive it.

We rented this for a family movie night (kids 3, 5, 5). They liked the movie, but there were several instances where there's cussing. We weren't really prepared for it, and it pops up several times throughout the movie. If this isn't an issue for you, then I'd recommend the movie

What a good movie! The story was fulfilling, even better that it's based on real events. The acting was great, Maggie Elizabeth Jones did such a nice acting job for her age! Entirely fantastic!
