Only good thing about this was the Chimp - Caesar. Otherwise, let it stay on the shelf.

awful movie, no story line at all jumps all over the place. Not even close to being the same quality as the original "Planet Of The Apes"

Was a dark movie, intense, dramatic. Lessons to be learned--never underestimate your enemy. Shows quite an anatomy of the whole process of revenge. The way the apes are portrayed with such human feelings and thoughts, it shows this is more about the human condition than about animals. Opens your eyes to see how far human beings can slide and how out of control things can become when we start going down the wrong path,. Good reality check--sobering.

Good ape movie. Acting was good. A lot of action and good story. Left it opened for another sequel.

I absolutely loved this movie! We all did including my beau who hates scifi movies. Although the monkey's features were a little too human like, I could overlook. It's not like The Planet of the Apes. It is sad what some people do to animals and you root for the animals. The ending is bittersweet. I would go see Rise of the apes II if there was one.
