I saw it at private screening in SF at Metreon IMAX, woo-hoo, for my Birthday - it was a surprised, I love Christian Bale in every thing. The whole film was electrifying w/ great cast all around and Christopher Nolan out did himself - still a bit noisy, but doable.

The Dark Knight Rises (2012) is truly SUPERB in every aspect in terms of screenplay, acting performances and character development, cinematography, dynamics, etc. Personally, this sequel out of all of the Dark Knight movies is my PERSONAL FAVORITE even though they were all excellent. What else can I say! Christian Bale is truly a gifted actor and is meant and intended to portray this realistic, humanistic version of what the once Batman was on the big screen. Sorry, Michael Keaton. JUSTICE WAS ONCE AGAIN TRULY DELIVERED AT THE CONCLUSION. The conclusion to this movie is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE. :-) DEFINITELY LOVE TO RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE TO OTHER MOVIE VIEWERS OF AN AGE APPROPRIATE AUDIENCE 13 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER. SERIOUSLY!!!

Was able to see a private screening of this film and it lacked two things in my opinion . Bane doesn't quite reach Ledger's brillient performance and I did have issues w/ the brutallity of the film, but it worked to a great conclusion. It is miss direction and guile that makes a nice ending to the Dark Knight trilogy, All the have secrets and like the second film better. The look and feel of the classic 1940's film is used to perfection. This movie starts off with a sort of social controlled pace so that the chaos that follows is something that the audience can't stop or want to. Hathaway gives us a different Catwoman, one I didn't consider. Once again every scene has a purpose and it builds in a fine pace.

    I found this third and last installment to Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy to be the best one out of all three. I loved Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, but The Dark Knight Rises was insanely intense and action packed. The plot was well put together and the characters were well brought out together and developed. Christain Bale is the best Batman ever, and the rest of the cast were shockingly amazing, Especially Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. The Ending of this movie is well worth the wait of the long running time of this movie, but even with that said the whole movie is well worth to see, if not a must see for everyone. Trust me you don't want to miss this one, i believe it deserves an Oscar for its hard hitting and touching plot.

    It's enjoyable enough for its runtime, but mostly forgettable. In general, it seemed overstuffed, overdone, and too long. Although there's plenty of action and closure to the Batman legacy, I rate it as the weakest installment of the trilogy.

    The third and final installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy whips by, even at 2:45 min, because it is very intense, with lots of action and a sad and satisfying ending. AH steals the show as Catwoman. As Siskel and Ebert used to say....two BIG thumbs up!
