Director Ulli Lommell (Green River Killer, BTK Killer, Son of Sam) delves back into the world of true crime with this dramatic portrayal of the 2002 shootings that shocked the world. Over the course of three terrifying weeks, John Allan Muhammad (Ken Foree) and his teenage accomplice Lee Boyd Malvo (Tory N. Thompson) embarked on a vicious shooting spree that had residents of our nation's capitol fearing for their lives. By the time the Muhammad and Malvo were apprehended, they had killed 10 people, and wounded three more. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
I wished I would have trusted the rating of this movie before I watched it. I had hoped to gain a better insight into the events and how everything, including media interviews, etc., played together. This movie is neither a dramatic portrayal nor documentary as much of the information surrounding the actual events was not included nor was there a timeline established. To sum up the movie: a little talking, a shot fired from a BB gun (simulating a rifle), blood splatter, a little more talking, another shot, etc. Complete waste of time. Allen C.
Anyone thinking of ever renting this movie should consider cutting off their eyelids and laying face down in a pile of angry fire ants. Trust me, you will be MORE ENTERTAINED. In fact , i would tell your local BB franchise to remove this movie from the shelves just to ensure any further customers dont have to go through the nightmare called DC SNIPER. WHAT A POS !!
How does this skid mark of a movie have a 2 star rating when all the reviews are unanamously 1/2 star. ???
